The F. Vittadini Higher Institute of Music Studies gained Erasmus University Charter status (EUC) in 2007. It is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) or the European Commission's action programme in the field of permanent learning, set up by the European Parliament and the Council on 15th November 2006. This project brings together all the European cooperation initiatives in the field of teaching and education between 2007 and 2013.
